As a Business Development Manager at Procivis, you will play a critical role in driving our new business growth across the EU region and beyond. Your focus will be on expanding our market presence in the EU with our cutting-edge digital identity and verifiable credentials solutions in the public sector. Proficiency in English is a must; any other European language is advantageous.

As a Business Development Manager at Procivis, your key responsibilities will be focussed on :

  • Market Expansion: Develop and implement business development strategies to expand Procivis' market presence in the EU region in public sector . 

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business relationships and opportunities within the public sector, including participation in public tenders. 

  • Solution Sales: Present and sell our digital identity and credentials solutions to prospective clients, crafting customized proposals and delivering impactful presentations. 

  • Tender Management: Take responsibility for tenders in your territory and lead the cross functional bid team. Define the winning strategy and align it with the leadership.

  • Partner Sales: Build and maintain strong partner network in order to leverage partners for consulting, implementation and operation of our technology solution.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure project delivery, customer satisfaction and market feedback on our offerings. 

Job requirements

  • Public sector Sales Track Record: You have 3+ years of experience in selling successfully complex software solutions to the public sector (ministries, government agencies) in the EU. You have a proven track record of winning public tenders.

  • Sales Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development or sales (direct and indirect with partners) within the software industry, in particular with a focus on new business.

  • IT Experience: Profound knowledge and experience in software solution selling for a software company, IT consultancy or IT system integrator.

  • Domain Affinity: A strong understanding of the digital identity industry (digital identity, IAM, SSI, Verifiable Credentials) or related IT-security space is a significant advantage and will allow you to get up to speed quickly.

  • Educational Background: Completed bachelor’s or master’s degree.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and verbal) + at least one European language.
